A spider....

I saw this creature on the way to football yard at the campus. It was scary, so big, so colorful that i had never seen before and it was high, too. The nest was right above me and it hang there , like a sleeping beast. I stood on my foot fingers trying to catch its photo with my phone and the result was weird. I had no courage to take the picture again. I might awaken the spider and he might bite me... i did not want to be like Superman ... so i did not try any more.
Every time i saw this picture it reminded me of Richard- he was my lecturer last semester- who said some time distortion is good.
Oh well, it looks weird but I like it .

I like photography and i used to take pictures every day even when i only had a my super crap camera. These photos was taken with the university's camera ( i borrow it but can not remember exactly what is was... Canon )

I had several picture of my fooling-around-drawings and my own photos that i took and really wanted to post in this blog... but that guy - a friend whose photo camera was used to took my pictures- got drunk ( this time ) and can not sent me those pics ( many times )... Ohhh i'm so mad !

Noah Kalina

Noah Kalina took his own picture every single day in 6 years. Then he put them on the You tube as a video that had many many views. I admire him because it was his creativity to do something so simple, something every one could do but the result is touching. I don't take his effort as a game or something to show off. What i see is time, is life, is a man with eyes that are sad , almost did not move, staring at the camera... I can see times when he's happy, not happy, once like he was annoyed.... I mean it's so lively, so real and a a little scary , for me. Because time is not something i recognize usually but it does really run and never come back. Noah framed himself every day during that period of time no matter how his life was and how he was growing... it was so cool.

Broken and Fun

This friend of mine had his arm broken in a football match. He wanted me to decorate that arm and i drew on it. It was fun though I knew the picture would be gone when he gets better. I said if only he braked something bigger like a leg or whole body... I could have more spaces. It was a joke of course.

Ken Diamond

In my opinion, as we live in the world where everything can be done by machines, everything has an industry... things that are hand made are really precious. This guy Ken Diamond is an artist! He made leather products by his hand which are incredible beautiful and
The hat and shoes are noble, stylish. I especially love the logo- the antique anchor , the handwriting font and the gentle liana. The hardness of the anchor on the leather opposed with the smoothness of font type and the decoration made the simple but empathic charm.
I was so crazy about those shoes, really really want to have a pair ... and the hat, either.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with the amazingly talented, Ken Diamond in his Vancouver studio. Ken makes things out of leather, and he makes them all by hand! People are really buzzing about his work, and his moccasins were recently featured in Hobo Magazine.

One of the first things he showed me were the moccasins and as I ran my fingers over all the little details, I realised that the beauty of his leather work could only be fully appreciated in person. Sadly the internet is only optimized for two of the five senses, so your Ken Diamond experience is limited to the 20 or so photos I took during my visit.

Ken makes everything from belts to bicycle seats. Here’s an original design pressed right into the leather band on a great little hat for the rockabilly set.

And a matching beer can sleeve. Love the detailing on the anchor.

Lauren Javour

It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time

She was the young artist that I knew through the video in You tube "BRAVE art present Lauren Javour" .
Lauren Javour 's paintings have very attractive personal emotions. I must say they are charming. I like the way she draw the eyes and how the color as well as the wood material were used. My favorite:

Vasco Mourao

I have always love line art. You can feel the emotion, the strength and smoothness of the lines to create a picture. there is just black and white but much more than the colors. Then I found Vasco Mourao pieces that impressed me so much. He uses line to create a surrealist world with an unique structural illustration. There are some of the pieces that i adore most

I wanted to buy a speaker as headphones are sometime are a tire. This is a picture my friend spam me . May be he thinks all girls love Hello Kitti - which is wrong. Anyway, it is cute and fun.
